Education, variety and quality – the German community in Pinzgau is delighted!

In addition to language courses, the Bildungshaus now also offers internationally recognised ÖSD German examinations.

In Pinzgau, a region in the province of Salzburg, you will find many interesting offers. However, this area is not only interesting for its tourism. In the region, German learners have the opportunity to experience the diversity of the German language through various local dialects and thus build up unique skills. All the more reason for Thurners Bildungshaus to be licensed as an ÖSD examination centre.

Thurners Bildungshaus is associated with tourism and tradition. Founded in 2022 by Dr.Thomas Thurner on the basis of his renowned boutique hotel, the aim is to create a place of shared and lifelong learning. German courses are offered in small groups so that the individual learning pace can be taken into account. The success of each individual learner is paramount.

Comprehensive programme for all

The courses offered by the education centre include a comprehensive range of language courses for German as a foreign and second language. Other language courses and specialist courses are also offered. This variety allows students to deepen their knowledge in different areas. In addition to the modern facilities at the training centre, courses can also be held at the customer’s premises. This flexibility ensures that education is accessible to everyone.

Global recognition through ÖSD German exams

The partnership with the ÖSD adds another dimension to the Thurners Bildungshaus. In addition to learning German, students can now obtain a German certificate. The ÖSD language examinations enable students to prove their German language skills on a global level. Upon successful completion of the written and oral exams, students receive a globally recognised language certificate. This qualification is not only an advantage for professional purposes, but also offers the opportunity to study or work in a German-speaking environment.

The range of German exams offered by the ÖSD

At the ÖSD exam centre Thurners Bildungshaus, ÖSD examinations can be taken at level ZA1 to ZC1.
